Man Petitions Obama to Ban Skyrim
« on: November 26, 2011, 06:22:48 AM »
Apparently, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is destroying society, as a man from Tennesee is petioning United States President, Barack Obama for the ban of "SkyRim [sic]" and for the prosecution of anyone caught playing it.

The man cites his reasons as being that SkyRim is causing "psychological and spiritual damage to teens"

The petition, as of the time of this writing, boasts one hundred-seven signatures. It needs twenty-five thousand by this time next month.

The petition can be found here.

excrement, I must have blinked, because I missed Blizzard Entertainment buying out Bethesda and acquiring the rights to develop SkyRim. XD

I'm pretty sure at least 1/10th of these signatures are trolls. It's gently-carressing hilarious.

STOPRIGHTTHERECRIMINALSCUM is my #1 pick so far.

Judging from the signatures, I think this looks fake.

Even if it wasn't fake, it wouldn't matter to us non-Americans.

Keep calm and move along.

It amazes me that those kind of people even know how to start a petition. Need to start a breeding blacklist... Anyways, I got a good laugh when I started reading the names.

It amazes me that people don't recognize satire.

Cool story bro. I've been around the Internet enough to know that things like this are actually believable.

It would be a waste of time if our government was actually doing anything useful with the information instead of responding with safe neutral no-meaning releases.
