No card?
Pretty much.

And of course it also happens when I can afford it.

Good sales today!

Super Meat Boy is excellent if horribly unforgiving.  You will die.  A lot.  But dying is not as terrible as other games.
Magicka is also interesting, very innovative magic system but I found it rather tough.  Maybe I just suck.
Battlefield Bad Company 2, Half-Life, and Bioshock are all having franchise sales and all good.

I haven't played full versions but will probably be picking up Darksiders, Hoard and some dlc/expansions for above mentioned games.

Day 4 has arrived!

My recommendations: Torchlight for $2.99, and if you enjoy b-movies and terrible voice acting Two Worlds 2 is on a massive 66% off sale at $17.00.  I can't really recommend it to anyone but it is terribly fun to abuse the magic system into producing horrible things...

I will probably be picking up the Arma's at the 50% off sale, and I may consider some of the Assassins Creed games as well.  For those into them Dragon Age 2 is at $35.99 and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is at $19.99 which caught my eye but not enough for me to seriously consider purchasing for myself.

Dragon Age 2 is at $35.99.
Hmmmmm...meh. I'd only recommend it if it were in the $20 range.

I'd say that the Assassin's Creed collection pack (less than $30) has much more value.

Bought the Assassin's Creed franchise for $27.  All three games for less than the price of Brotherhood?  gently-carress you Steam, take my money.

I think it would help me a lot if someone would give me Alpha Protocol as a gift since it doesn't show on Steam for me.

enjoy.

You sir are a gentleman and a scholar.

And my recommendations for today:

Frozen Synapse at $12.49.  Bit hard to describe I find TotalBiscuits review to be the best.  I'll embed it below.  Keep in mind when you buy this it is a two pack.

Trine at $1.99.  This is a steal.  It is a very good game.  Buy it now.  Stop reading and go.

Serious Sam HD Gold edition at $7.99.  Again a steal, includes both HD versions as well as the originals.

I haven't played it myself so I can't really recommend it but a lot of people say good things about Fallout New Vegas which is on sale for $14.99.  DLC is also 70% off.

And my personal purchases today may include Alpha Protocol, and the Mount & Blades that are on sale, and maybe Singularity.

A wee bit problem with this. Alpha Protocol may be blocked for his region in steam. Don't know how it'll behave in this case. I'm curious to know if it works this way.

I know that it doesn't show for me because it's not to be sold in my region.

New Vegas for around $15 is quite worth it.

The Trine one too, but I already own it.

I also already had Singularity and I believe I bought the Mount & Blades in a megapack with a higher discount rate.

Day six has arrived!

Only the Deus Ex games are on my "played and should be played" list at $2.49 each.  Guild Wars was decent but won't be every ones style.

The rest of the sales are on my "haven't played but maybe I should" list.  Notable ones: Civ V, Monkey Island games, and the Need For Speed games.
