Well, right now we are hoping that the update to 1.1 will make the server more stable.
Good news everyone,The 1.1 Server has been tested and the files have been handed off to Tran. The actual update time now is update to Tran, all of the mods are now 1.1 and work as they should. Some notes for the 1.1 release/updateYou will have to replace ALL chunk loaders. We ran a custom config on 1.0, and that config is now void and not needed any more. What is in its place is a White Redstone Light block. Simply replace those and you should be set.Any armor that needed to be charged (Quantum armor) will need to be RECHARGED, this may affect other storage devices. BatBox, MFE, MFSU seem to be unaffectedTeleport pipes may have to be reset, some broke some didn't.Geothermal Mark II Generators are obsolete, They are still included but the maintainer of PowerConverters may remove them at a later time. I suggest that you replace all of your current Mark II with normal Geothermals. (Yes they now accept buildcraft pipes directly)The main post of this thread will be updated with information regarding the client, etc
Mike for the time being you don't have to change your Geothermals they will still work
Found a conflict ID that needed to be resolved. Took out the installer to make sure no one downloaded it accidentally. It *should* be good now, folks are testing the installer to make sure it works and people can connect to the server with out random lock ups or crashes.
Does anyone know what the upgrade options are for machines such as macerators, furnaces, recyclers, etc.? There are four boxes on the right of the machine UI which I'm told can hold upgrades/additions, but it hasn't been added to the wiki yet.
Are they really implemented yet or just placeholders for future stuff?
EDIT: The fix worked amwdrizz.
Any chance we clan get the mod pack in an archive for Linux users? A .tar.gz perhaps.
<CaptainJean-Luc> Doc: You have ruthlessly high standards.
There is a bug in industrial craft where using a pump and a compressor to generate snow will break things and cause crashes. DO NOT DO IT UNDER PENALTY OF DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.
Why would I want to generate snow?
I use it to compact into ice that cools a nuclear reactor. But that's me.Why -you- would want one? Can't say really.
