Spoiler for Hiden:
Ok, did anyone complete the mask collection yet? Including the secret one you get after collecting all others?

I'm not talking about the Masque of Clavicus Vile though.

Spoiler for Hiden:
Nope. Currently have found... was it 4 or 5?
Anyway, gotta keep looking, as it seems that most of them are at the end of 2h hour long dungeons. :D

Well where/how do you begin the quest to find them?
Or are they all just scattered around for you to stumble upon?
As I am not going to spend ages looking for these masks if there is no reward at all, I don't do that. :D

No reward? It is such a long task that there HAS to be a reward.

Well yeah but is it "Your masks -are- your reward", or do you get a large sum of money and a load of kick-ass stuff?
Or do you just get a little bit of money and a new place that you will never use?

Loot from the dungeons. The masks are all in dungeons which you can loot, plus near the liches that have the masks there's almost always one of those ornate chests with loot.

Spoiler for Hiden:
As for the secret mask itself:

"When health is low, has a chance to heal wearer and damage nearby enemies. It may very rarely summon a Dragon Priest to assist the wearer as well."

Toaster

So the final secret mask is the reward.

Loot I don't really class as a reward as I loot everything anyway. :P
Mind you I was expecting something a little bit more...
Oh well. :P
I'll just go and find the secret one. :P

That's a bit hard when you get to higher levels, considering that the loot itself starts to weight a LOT more. Especially daedric stuff. Ouch.

As I have found out. :D

I haven't actually touched and Daedric stuff, or seen any actually.
Only hint of Daedra I have seen is the tiny "museum" in Carthal(?)

Oh, you'll see them. And their swords, axes, bows, maces, spells...

Though I'll say that Skyrim has a LOT less daedra than Oblivion. They can't just simply open gates anymore.

Daedric stuff looks so disgusting.

I much prefer Orcish or Ebony stuff. Or possibly Dragonbone/Skin stuff, though I haven't been able to get much of that.

Oh i don't wear Daedric myself. I wear my set of legendary Dragonscale armor. I'm more of a skirmisher than anything else.
I actually enchanted my stuff such that i do 200 damage with my legendary Daedric bow, plus the 20 shock damage.

Been looking at stats, it seems that resource cost and weight, make Dragon bone Armor the outright best of the armors, though it can be beaten by Daedric, at the cost on a much heavier armor value. I am looking forward to smithing in this game.

Ebony metal is mined exclusively from Vvardenfel, and given the fact that Vvardenfel got destroyed when the floating moon above Vivec resumed it's course, I wouldn't be surprised if Ebony and Daedric armor become increasingly more rare in the games after this one. At least until Morrowind can be reinhabited.

You can only create Dragon stuff with 100 Smithing and by also taking the last perk of the tree. There's two paths to it. One goes through ebony and daedric stuff, the other through elven stuff.

Daedric is better. Just sayin.
