The intro has to be one of my favorites only rivaled by Baccano's.

This is now an anime intro's thread.

I liked that, may have to go watch it.  I also always enjoyed the Trigun intro:

Okay, so after a while pondering the idea I am interested to see some form of decent anime.
So, anime fans, do you have any recommendations that can be easily found and watched?
I don't mind watching subs as you tend to get a better translation for the actual content anyway rather than the censorship you can get with dubbed anime's.

Here is my Anime history if that would provide any insight to what would be a good recommendation.

Hellsing (Both OVA and the other series thing.)
Digimon and Digimon Tamers.
Pokémon.
Zoids.
Spice and Wolf.
Cardcaptors. (Although I remember excrement all about that show other that I watched it and there was magic and cards. :D)
Yu-Gi-Oh. (All series up to 5d's.)

So, let me know what you think would be a good show to watch. :D
Also please note that I won't be overly fond of even trying one with a massive romance overtone.
Come look at my art.

And here's a hint to people:

DO NOT STREAM! DO NOT STREAM! STREAMING IS TERRIBLE AND THERE IS NO EXCUSE

Download episodes or torrent them, there are plenty of sites you can get them from like animetake. You can also XDCC on IRC. The channel I use is #NEWS on irc.rizon.net

Use MPC-HC along with CCCP

And why should we not stream rather than torrenting?

I have no idea what  XDCC or the other acronyms are tbh. :P

Streaming episodes can really break the video quality depending on your broadband or the server load on their end. Also, video quality on streams is, usually, of lower quality than downloads, across the board.

Ah, well I don't really mind overall as to me the anime animation style is okay enough for me on streaming.
I personally don't want another video player on my computer for animes so I'd be fine with streaming.

Plus downloading gives you access to uncut episodes

Sure which is why I'd use torrents if I want to watch a whole series, but I am not a fan of downloading another video software to watch them, therefore I am fine with streaming.

I am not a huge anime fan anyway so I'd onlt be trying stuff out, which is another vote for streaming as I won't need to download anything. :P
