Finally ended up trying it out for a while the other day and I'm not sure I really enjoy it.
It seems to put a heavier emphasis on 'the maths' than player skill. Got sick of losing engagements because I flanked some guy's tank, shot him in the rear twice and had it bounce off, and then getting instakilled through my front armor. And the way accuracy works is irritating to me. There's no gravity, although you do seem to have to lead, but all the innacuracy is apparently due to the fact that the barrel is shaped like a cone.
It's silly because they tell you in the in-game tips that light tanks are dead if they stop moving in a fight, then if you do anything but stop dead every time you want to fire you won't be able to hit anyone beyond two feet in front of you. D:
Only time I had any fun at all was when I got a T18, upgraded it with an AT howitzer, and ripped open a bunch of poor newbies loltraktors with it in one shot while ignoring all the return fire. And even then it wasn't particularly satisfying since it was basically a guaranteed win, because of the maths.
