I'm not going to watch all of the video because it's the same damn thing I've seen, and I don't have time for it.
Piracy on music, movies, and games are not as big as a problem as it's portrayed. In fact, in some mediums, independent research have proven that it INCREASES revenue earned due to acting as free advertising, and the fact is if the person likes it, the more likely they are going to support the company.
In actuality, DRM Causes piracy, not the other way around. If you remember the Assassin's Creed PC Scandal, piracy rates shot up due to the infamous DRM device put on it, which made you have to be connected to the internet at all time to play it. Copyright infringement is just an excuse for companies like the MPAA and RIAA to earn more money to feed their platinum diet.
They went after a single mother due to some songs she downloaded......and this time the RIAA lost. But due to copyright infringement, they thought they had the chance to get some hard cash. I applaud her for suing the RIAA back, though I cannot find the results of that case
Money earned by sales does not all go to the creator. In fact, the creator get's very little in comparison to the copyright holder.
The RIAA and MPAA, the two biggest copyright supporters, have been known to act in a Mafia-style way, including the use of breach of privacy. They use their disposable income to bribe the government. If you remember the SOPA incident, all of the supporters were shown to have been paid by them in some way.
This may not reflect my views on the video, as I don't have time for all of it, but it's my general stance on piracy.
tl;dr: Piracy isn't a problem, the MPAA and RIAA are pulling numbers out of their ass
