So this doesnt mean I have to go and transfer all of my keys to EA: Origin does it?
if you bought it on steam you should be good. they still support crysis 2 so I see no reason they wouldn't.

Oh nope. Only if you want. I have Crysis 2 and DAII and they still work. I don't know about re-downloads though. I assume that if the game is in your library, that it is for good. If Steam takes it out of your game library, they owe you a refund.

I never thought I'd say this but... With all the knowledge currently available I have to side with EA on this one...

Same reason for Crysis 2 and likely the same reason Steam isn't listed as a Battlefield 3 distributor as of yet.

I can only understand Steam being this restrictive if they intend to take a cut out of DLC sales.

I've researched the clause in question. EA was fully aware of the terms beforehand, and is only using it as a way to pull their games off Steam so that people have any reason to use Origin without causing fan backlash, as well as cut Steam out of the loop regarding DLC dividends if sold through it. They could have just sold the Dragon Age 2 DLC as they did for DA:O, but they purposefully contradicted the ToS to move it off the platform.

This may be so but I don't think the clause has any right being there...
