well ok for the main college i am shooting for it is a little place called CalArts in Valencia, CA. their acceptance rate is between 5-6%. The tuition and fees is in the link here http://calarts.edu/admissions/tuition-fees

i want to go to this school because they have connections to Disney and Pixar studios. I absolutely LOVE Disney so if i can work for them that would be AWESOME. My second bet is LCAD which the tuition and fees are in the link here http://www.lcad.edu/tuition.php What's good about them is that they have on-campus housing. and they help you a lot since it is a small school and not as big as CalArts.

Next here is Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. here is their tuition and fees, http://www.collegedata.com/cs/data/college/college_pg03_tmpl.jhtml?schoolId=727 that goes more into depth however.

lastly there is California College of the Arts which is in San Francisco. Now that is tough because i would have to MOVE up to northern California, away from Sen and my family. But the tuitions are here http://www.cca.edu/students/handbook/tuition_fees
now i am looking for jobs and on scholarship hunts. but im more than likely gonna be pounded with student loan debt after i get my bachelors. ):

I'd gravitate more towards the Pixar side of things, It is one of the studios consistently yielding profits for Disney.

But in regards of CG movies (the sorts Pixar makes), how do you intend to fit in? Storyboarding? Concept art and stuff? Digitally painting the environments? Creating Textures?

Also the thing that is the difference with America and British/English Universities/Colleges is that the whole moving aspect is waaaaaay bigger for the Americans.
Most, if not all Universities here provide student housing on or very close to Campus. So it's not as if you're moving not knowing if you're going to have a place to live.
Not free but it's a load off your mind. XD

Well i am good with traditional. i still have yet to master the digital arts though. I'm more into illustration and character design. :3

I myself think I'm going to search for some kind of art school in the future, but everything's so damn hard to find in this country. Most of the time if the place is decent and has room, it's a hundred miles away. But I'd love to become a graphics designer and maybe make my own comic series one day.
In Brazil we have both public and private Universities. I assume they're all public in Sweden?
No, there are some private universities, but those are rare and are only for rich people :P

The only private one I know of is in Stockholm, and I have no plans of going there.

Keep calm and move along.

Yuuuup, just gonna stand here and keep being awesome because of my lineage. :D

Seriously though situations would likely change as well, you might not be the same financially being British. All situations are different.

Heh, if I had any ideas I'd make one myself, on dA though. :D
I need a site if I want it to be my own. :P

I don't know why I'm such a selfish individual. my boyfriends grandma dies and we argue about something little. then i think he is gonna be all like a knight in shining armor and swoon me and apologize, he just apologizes on the phone. I'm not angry at him anymore but i tell him that the apology was not like how i had i had expected. he just hung up. I'm addicted to this kind of hurt. heartbreak. i don't know why. i feel like just giving up now. don't expect me to get online for a while or at all. I'm sure something will work out. i probably not end it here. sorry i don't sound all happy like usual. this is my other side.
