<CaptainJean-Luc> Doc: You have ruthlessly high standards.
You know I was just wondering... Is there a spot where you can see all of the maps from all the games put together? You know of the universe at large?
This may seem like an ignorant question - because it is - but I know that ES 3 was set in Morrowind, ES 4 in Cyrodiil, and now ES 5 in Skyrim. So I'm curious, where were the first two taking place?
TES I: Arena took place across all of Tamriel and TES II: Daggerfall took place in High Rock & Hammerfell.
If I remember correctly Daggerfall also used a PRNG map generation technique for a near infinite ingame world size that was different every new game you played. Similar to minecraft though less detailed of course.
Not only the map, but now the Xbox 360 game manual too:http://www.joystiq.com/2011/10/11/skyrim-manual-leaks-reveals-details-about-the-game/http://imgur.com/a/RFee1#yTU7BWhoops!
That is the first time I've ever seen leaked material in the form of a manual.Who the gently-carress reads manuals?
People who read manuals?
Who the gently-carress reads manuals?
Me. I like actually knowing how to play a game.
If there isn't a tutorial in the beginning of the game, I just assume it's like Oblivion. If things gently-carress up, then I look in the manual.
This. I do not understand. Why of all things would you leak the game manual?
It is weird, isn't it?But there were people that wanted to see how the HUD and some other menus and screens (item screen, for example) would look like, and those pics had that kind of stuff.
There were also some people who wanted to know how the controls would work, me for instance, and the manual explains.
