Because they already went through it in the 1990s and fixed it by actually cutting spending.  Wish I could say the same for this country.
Yes, but we cut most of the spending from the military budget. At a time when it desperately needed an overhaul, and replacements for aging equipment. And even now, though it's gotten more attention, the CF still really needs new equipment. We've resorted to cannibalizing some of our ships and aircraft to keep the others operational. And I should also add none of our really old submarines really work anymore.

So yeah...don't go envying our amazing budget foresights quite yet.
Sorry to weigh in on this, but this discussion belongs in the politicentral thread.

Here is a good comparison of the PS4 and Xbox

As it is on that picture, the PS4 still wins IMO. $100 cheaper, Indie developers can self-publish.

To be fair, the entire point of a boycott is to make a company stop doing something. And if they actually do stop, then it kinda makes sense to end the boycott and actually buy the thing.

Still, didn't expect the numbers to shoot that high.

How sad...

At least I won't be one of the ones buying it.

Its also speculated the whole thing was a stunt in itself from Microsoft as well, the whole DRM thing.

Honestly they don't deserve the sales for what they did Muk. They still need to be taught that it was a dumb idea.
