EA's Origin Kicks Things Off with a Massive Sale
« on: July 30, 2011, 04:03:23 PM »
[float=left][attach=1][/float] For those of you who don't know, EA has recently unveiled their hopeful competitor to Steam's distribution platform, which they call Origin.  It's been met with mixed reactions and a lot of animosity, so EA is trying to sweeten the deal with an utterly massive sale on 36 fairly major titles and expansions.  All 36 games are down to a pleasant $4.99 until the end of Sunday, July 31st, so now's a good a time as any to pick up any of the games you may have passed over.

The sale is on Origin's own site, which you can find here.

Same here. Mirror's Edge alone is a wee bit too...small an offering to make me switch or register there too.

Hmmm... Might use this site to order the ME3 N7 Deluxe Digital Edition, but I see no other reason to use it than that. At least for now.

I'm keeping this option open, but or now it's only that.

Yeah. I also got kinda indecisive about this, but there's no real hurry about it. But the chances are that I may get ME3 faster this way than via store.
Or maybe not...

Last I checked, Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, Bad Company 2, Mirror's Edge, Command & Conquer and Burnout Paradise are all EXCELLENT games.

Except for C&C 4.

Hmmm, only game I would have gotten would have been Merceneries 2, but I already have that.

Sorry EA, better luck next time. :P

Yes, but that's a very small fraction of the list.

Yes, but that's a very small fraction of the list.
Not to mention that some people must already have a bunch of them.
