Glu buys GameSpy; Shuts down MP servers
« on: December 12, 2012, 04:52:57 AM »
Long story short, Glu Mobile buys out GameSpy and then proceeds to shutdown any and all GameSpy powered multiplayer servers. See Halo, SW:BF, Sniper Elite...etc. Then tells the devs to fork over the $ if they want the servers back.

Yeah, saw that one. Must apply to Dawn of War I too, including up to Soulstorm. All of them used Gamespy IIRC.

Though that PoS stopped working a long time ago for me. Used all sorts of weird ports and simply wouldn't work with UPnP.
