Warhammer thread (Fantasy, 40k, background and more)
« on: May 28, 2011, 11:29:09 AM »
This is THE official warhammer thread for Game IV. All discussion of Games Workshop's unique IP (and business practices) go here.

Hopefully we can get some batreps, fluff discussions or even just bitching about GW, all viable.

I'll be contributing from time to time as well. RP discussion does not go here unless its about how characters and plots fit into the world as a whole.
...scum.

I approve of this new thread. :ninja:

Errr...isn't this thread in the wrong board?

40k is a game.

Yup,  :D

But my point about this not belonging in the off-topic board still stands. :P

I'd say putting it in the games section would be better as it's more associated with people who don't know about it as a table top RPG, so it makes sense to put it in the games section.
Come look at my art.

Warhammer is first and foremost a table top game, not a video game and so it stays here, thank you very much.

But it's not just a video game board and like you said it is a game so it belongs there.
Not in off topic.

Tabletop counts as a genre...  I'd put it in gaming discussion.

Haven't played the TT yet, so my opinion doesn't count as much.

I'm not big into Warhammer, my into it consists of owning DOW 1 (no expansions) owning DOW 2 and not caring for it, and having wandered into the local model painting shop that has nothing but Warhammer stuff.

But I loved playing the Eldar in DOW 1.
