Server Move

Preparations for moving the server to it's new location are now underway.  As of right now game-iv.net is no longer a reliable method to reach the current server.  game-iv.com game-iv.org and talizorah.org will remain pointed at the current server until further notice.  Once the move is ready to be completed access at the current server will be disabled the data moved to it's new location and activated there.  Once the new server is activated and appears to be working all domains will be moved to their new location.

We should see a significant boost in performance and hopefully stability as well from this move.  Any questions/comments please feel free to share.

Edit: Most IRC implementations where pointed to irc.game-iv.net which moved to the new server earlier today, I have rectified this and all IRC's should return to a working state again.

I was not aware that there was a .net and .org for this site. Redundancy I'm guessing?

Primarily just redundancy, if it gets to the point that I split the server into sub pieces .com/org will be for standard stuff like the forums and .net will host things like game servers, irc servers, etc.

Plus Website Buisness ownership 101 states that if you are making a website, its best to coin all the same named domains  you can. Game-Iv.com Game-iv.net, game-iv.org. Its good buisness practice

I find that 42 Tonnes of TNT can do alot of work...  Of course I would never do that to a public server, On my own though Me and my friends always find a way of completely making a grand canyon out of the spawn point :\

Yeah doing that outside of the spawn point I kinda do if I didn't lag loads on servers...
Last MP server I went on I lagged so much it was unplayable.

Mind you it takes a lot for me to get tnt.
I kinda suck in battling creepers, I get one hi and back off but not enough to stop them exploding. :P
