I cringed while watching that. I couldn't do that... though I will eat Deep Fried Chocolate Covered Bacon with sea salt.

That... sounds worse than deep-fried butter, actually.

There's deep fried coke too. Not a whole lot that hasn't been deep fried...

Sounds delicious, actually.  Not sure about the bacon + chocolate, but deep fried chocolate with sea salt = GOD TIER.

It may be, but I meant health-wise.

And fried chocolate with sea-salt still sounds disgusting to me.

That's what I was thinking about...that thing is...just pure...fat. And sugar. For crying out loud...

And then there's the whole cholesterol issue to think about.

They really should use margarine. I doubt someone who's going to eat that could tell the difference anyway.

Margarine is actually worse for you than butter.

Says who? The nutritional information, and the fact that anybody buys it would suggest otherwise.

Because it can contain Trans fat.

It's a cheap knock-off made from vegetal oils. Since the procedure of transforming oils into solid fat is rarely perfect, Trans Fat occurs as a byproduct. And those types of fat are pure poison.

Companies started to use a different process for making it something like 10 years ago when a bunch of studies came out showing the consequences of trans fats. Most brands have none in them now.

All you Taste in it is just the chocolate and sea salt anyways. All the bacon adds is extra chewiness to it

I know. It still tastes worse than butter though. I prefer to use butter in smaller quantities.

Besides, it's still fat. Nobody should be eating pure fat like that.

True enough. Butter certainly does taste better, that's for damn sure.

I for one just can't eat margarine. Think it tastes absolutely disgusting. :x

But I like butter. Is that strange? :ermm: But of course, I would never eat a deep-fried stick of butter. You Yanks can keep it.

As a southerner I am generally a fan of deep fried... everything. But Fair Food is its own sub-breed and should not be confused with NORMAL food.

What're you so confused about? A stick of butter each day lubes up the arteries and keeps the body running healthy and smooth

Yes, it's exactly what you think.  Deep-fried butter.

Quite frankly, it's the Iowa State Fair for you, been there enough to practically expect such things.

Indeed. And to think that excrement is happening not to far from where I live. I live in in Missouri, we just have toasted ravioli.
Which is delicious.
