I ain't saying it ain't amusing, but effectiveness wise you're so much better off spending a ton more and just taking the regular AC/10.

maybe, but hey, if it can take an Atlas 1 on 1 and win it's effective enough for me....Stalkers though, those things scare me....

also

i think i prefer the original design over this one, still nice to have a 75 ton....might need to buy MC and get more mechbays

I like my Stalker. We're buddies. Tho the torso twist being so small is kinda annoying and as expected everyone just boats whatever the current flavor of the month weapon is (SRM 6 w/ Artemis are the new hotness it seems).

Was never a huge Orion fan and the arms just look... huge to  be carrying just a single medium laser each.

thanks to the SWTOR maintenance i'm finally getting some playtime today and i'm wondering, is the LRM5 in the 4X's head worth the space or should i replace it with a SSRM2?

LRM 5s seem to be fairly useless in general. By themselves AMS can completely negate them and the effort in keeping a solid lock makes it not terribly worthwhile. You really have to dedicate some tonnage to LRMs to get use out of them I think.

I know this but does it make a difference?  No, it does not.

It does for the purpose of making sense :P

Also for the purpose of limiting the mechs that they would have to implement.

I'm presently waiting for them to add more stuff. I had my fun with the stalker but until they get off their asses and actually start making it a full fledged game I can't dedicate that much time to it.

Haven't even touched it again since Open Beta started. And seeing as it is still in that phase, don't see much of a reason to invest time in it. The only 3 mechs I'd be interested in playing would be the Atlas, the Mad Cat (Timber Wolf) and the Stone Rhino (Behemoth).  Only the Atlas is in there.

Well I doubt you're going to see any Clan mechs for awhile considering they havent even managed to completely balance the IS tech.

Hopefully we'll see some marked improvement soon.

I am fond of the Stalker. I've been running paired LRM10s and SRM6 packs with Artemis FCS, backed up a pair of MLas and a LL. Been working pretty well.
