[float=left](http://www.gamespublic.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/ARMA-2-patch-v1.05.jpg)[/float]Everyone has probably heard about ARMA 2.  If you haven't, ARMA 2 is a hyper-realistic war sim that has the player fighting on a huge 200 km2 map with aircraft, tanks, trucks, and tractors, if need be, to traverse it.

The free version allows you to play the multiplayer but you don't have the highest graphic options, singleplayer campaigns, and mod support.  The games rich mission editor is included with the free version.  So if you are scared of jumping feet first into multiplayer right away you can download some user created missions (http://www.armaholic.com/list.php?c=arma2_files_scenarios_spmissions) or campaigns (http://www.armaholic.com/list.php?c=arma2_files_scenarios_campaigns).

Worried that you wouldn't like it or that your computer wouldn't run it?  Now is a great time to try it at its new, amazingly low price.
