Latest news from the outer colonies: the planet of Shaba in the Fauc system, which consists of up to 92% of water and was previously frozen, have been hit with a ferocious storm that has swept across the entire continent (a side effect from the terraforming), and trade with this area have been cut until the storm subsides. Unfortunately, that could take weeks.

Noting interesting is really going on in the rest of the confederacy, except from the relentless work of the scientists and the endless talking on the streets about the satellite.

Disaster has struck Caliban as a group of rebels calling themselves the true way rose up all around the planet. They killed the missionaries and engaged the Paladins in a long protracted war. After several days of fighiting the fleet was called in. The paladins left the world and Otto authorized the leveling of Caliban by bombardment.

The new battlecruisers put their guns to good use and destroyed every major city and rebel stronghold on Caliban. The paladins returned and executed the rest of the populace. Millions of the faithful arrived soon after to colonize the world.

The Ecclesiastical council is meeting to discuss the implications of the newly discovered probe. If there is life out there, it should be shown the true faith, and destroyed. The council has not decided the correct course of action as of yet.
...scum.

the first readings have returned to the Elfried research bases, the object seems to be man-made.
the estimated size is 30 by 3 by 10 kilometers.
more probes, (now with robots and other exploration equipment) are being launched.

A breakthrough of the entire scientific world of the confederacy has been made: a kind of compass that, instead of pointing north, concentrates itself to the galactic core. This new invention has proved to be invaluable to CONI's navigational research, and has boosted it by several years, maybe even made it possible in the first place. Raekin Quint, the inventor of this extraordinary device, shall be justly rewarded.

Scientists have finally broken through the Facility.  and they were right. Inside of the Facility is a Spacecraft of remarkable design. similar to theirs.  Because of this, They have taken it back to Tyril so it can be taken apart, and figured out what makes this soo different from ours. The Discovery of this Spacecraft has echoed across the Civilization, and Everyone is throwing Parades in the street.  This discovery is set to Advance our Civilization yet again Hundreds of years into the future.

The 2 Species from the Planets we brought back have re-integrated with Technology. They are settling with the other (Human) kids perfectly fine, and there appears to be no problems... We will continue to watch as they grow, and note any behavioral, Mental, and Physical Changes.

The council has decreed that the probe can wait and that the events on caliban are too important. However the fleet is brought to full readiness.

OOC: The Rin Empire Sends fleets towards the new Site Layout :P

On board the Spacecraft found on the abandoned planet, Top scientists have brought it back to Tyril and begun studies on it.
Inside of the Craft they have found a variety of items that scientists believe to host things from AI's to a way to travel far into the Cosmos past our Star System.

Studies will continue as planned, we have sent more scientists towards this thing, as well as increased the budget by 1 trillion Creditz

Celebrations echo through the cities of the Jinkou republic: a working FTL drive, as well as an effective spaceship have both been created, all without causing any permanent harm on nature (they had to get the materials of course, metal and all that).

The ship was quickly filled with volunteers and exploration has already begun in the native star-system. The Council of Nine are also discussing possible colonization of nearby worlds.

A prototype of the navigational instrument has been built, but the research has come to a sudden stop as a plague seems to have hit the world of Aascan in the Jiij system. Resources have been turned to help the inhabitants in whatever way possible.

The Rin empire has found a Slipspace drive inside of the Abandoned starship found on the Systems Far planet world We have begun careful studies on how this device operates so we can produce these into our own spaceships.

The deadly plague, now known as Drezc duShaff ("Black Death"), continues to rampage Aascan. Although the scientists get nowhere closer to a cure despite continuous research, one thing is clear: this plague is not native to Aascan or any other planet that the confederacy owns. The best scientific men and women of the great Crescanian Confederacy is now trying to determine where this mysterious disease has it's origins.

Confirmed casualties: 3688 dead.

Fighting against pockets of resistance on Caliban intensifies, as it it appears that the rebels are defending something inside a large alien structure that survived the bombardment. Whatever is in there is causing them to fight like madmen to protect it. Three attacks have been thwarted. The elite 12thAssault Infantry "The Purifiers" have been called in to break the siege.

In other news a scientist had an accidental breakthrough in medical science. he discovered a chemical compound that appears to heal wounds much faster than normal procedures. Preliminary tests are underway.

The cities of the Jinkou republic are drowned in the sounds of celebration as the news of a space ship reaching Nivera - on of the planet's moon - spread through the media. Work is now put on developing a more effective FTL drive that can take them even further into the star system and eventually beyond it.

An amazing discovery has been made on Calasar - the smallest moon of Ji'an. It seems to be a crashed space ship dug into the dirt. It has far more advanced technology than the republic. A research team will be sent to examine.
