Alright, let's get this excrement started, and by excrement, I don't mean the Xbox one

Lets see.  Star Wars: Battlefront, Mirror's Edge, Tom Clancy's The Division, Watch Dogs, Kingdom Hearts 3, and Titanfall are so far must buys for me.

Now onto consoles.  Being from the PC Master Race I won't get one right away but when I do its going to be the PS4.  The Xbone looks like it has a chance to be DOA.

All of those except The Division for me. Not as must buys, but certainly on my list.

Okay, I'll repost my list here.

So in ACIV you're a pirate, and get to sail a pirate ship in the Caribbean and explore islands. This I like so far, so for now I can forgive Ubisoft for ACIII. Also for the 360, so that's a plus.

Tom Clancy's The Division looks interesting, based off of Operation Dark Winter. Next-gen though, so that's problematic.

And apparently the next big Deus Ex game is for...the Android/iOS? Gorram it Square Enix, you anger me with this.

TW: Rome II is a given.

Titanfall looks interesting. Dibs on it's mech designs for Empires.

Wolfenstein: The New Order I will definitely try. Should be interesting seeing as the Nazis won.

Star Wars: Battlefront, optimistic but cautious. It holds promise for games night.

Destiny looks like Bungie is trying to create their own Borderlands, but with more plot. Willing to see where they go with that.

The Evil Within...eh, not quite sure. Looks more bloody than scary, and kinda over the top. But I'm interested.

Call of Duty: Ghosts/Saints Row IV. For gently-carresss sake, they're beating a dead horse. I was finished with Black Ops 2/SRIII. But maybe Ghosts will have zombies, which is still fun every now and then.

Dead Rising 3. Zombies. Zombies everywhere. I don't care how many interesting ways you can kill them. You need to return to the roots and actually make something frightening, or at the very least suspenseful.

That's all that interests me, good or bad.
I'm back people...

Oh yeah, I was forgetting about SRIV. I'll get it for PC as it'll be only my second SR game.

Sounds like it's still murky. Sony itself may not be implementing restrictions like Microsoft is, but they're leaving it open for Publishers to gently-carress it up, it seems. Just like it is with the PS3.

Without restrictions in the console itself, i.e. without any sort of activation required, if you don't play online, it seems like used games won't be blocked at all. Now, as for playing multiplayer, they wouldn't stop the publishers from implementing something like the $10 pass EA was doing.

And if the game requires you to activate it with the publisher to play, like Mass Effect, then you'll likely be out of luck.

In fact, Mass Effect is the only PS3 game that I ever saw use that kind of crap...

Your forgetting that nothing is stopping the publishers from implementing the same DRM on PS4 games. They would just be using their own servers instead of Sonys to verify that its not used. They aren't limited to Multiplayer either. We might run into some situations where you can load up the main menu, but all the options are blocked out until you purchase a licence.

Of course.  EA has said it is ending it's online pass system and Ubisoft has been easing up on it's as well, now it just has it Uplay.  Which in my opinion is not the worst thing out there.

So yes, other publishers and the ones I mentioned could do it but I most likely will not purchase it or just end up cracking it if it annoys me enough.

Now if Sony announces a Valkyria Chronicles PS4 game I will seriously pre-order the system right now.

If they want to make themselves look bad they could. The PS4 is the better option in anycase, they are also far more indie dev friendly now. In fact Microsoft is no longer indie friendly.

However, I am positive not many will do it, and PS4 will not discriminate on used games.

Basically XBone has nothing but negatives, while PS4 has far more positives going for it. So while the may not implement DRM on XBone. It won't matter for lack of buyers, while PS4 will have more people playing on it.

I doubt it, but Sony may even go good guy greg, and nulify all DRM if one has PS+, which would be awesome, but they have to make money so I don't see it happening.

I ain't buying it on launch, that's for certain. And I expect BW to try and cram some sort of multiplayer where it doesn't belong.

Jesus did Bioware kill your family or something? Remember different Dev teams behind Dragon Age and Mass Effect. Bioware is still the development house that brought me DA:O and Knights of the Old Republic, they would have to do something catastrophic to lose my support all together, worse than the ME3 ending.

To each their own, but EA presides over owns all of BW. I still think ME's multiplayer component was their bright idea. If it didn't have that "playing MP increases this single player score here" thing it'd have been a non-issue. Not everyone has to like whatever they do.

I'll simply vote with my wallet and give them what I think their games are worth, which is to say, buy them at bargain bin prices, or perhaps on origin (blech) if it has a sale (fat chance).

Remember, I'm not a fan of them or anything of the sort. After DA2 and ME3, I'm not giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Out of all the games, I'm definitely most hyped for Division, followed by Titanfall. I'll never in my life put a finger on the Xbone, but I think I'll buy a PS4. Not on launch, mind you, maybe a year after or so. As for EA, I fully expect them to go scumbag steve. Again.

Keep calm and move along.

So apparently Ubisoft aren't planning on making a PC version for The Division, though they have made a petition about it that needs another 4,500 signings. Could you please all sign it, even if you're not planning on buying the game?

Yeah. Kinda sounds like XIII Versus for PS3 that ended up being FF XV for the PS4.
