I always hoped for Rome II after Shogun II. Very much an ideal situation for me. :P

Damn, I was hoping for a Victoria: Total War. Still, it'll be interesting to try it.

Yeah with Fall of the Samurai I was hoping that they would do something like that, doing years 1890-1930 or so.

But Grif's idea is good too.  1835-1935.

It'd be ideal if you think about it. There was a lot going on in that period, such as the Crimean War, the Great Game, Afghanistan Wars, Zulu Wars, Boer Wars, American Civil War, Opium Wars etc.

The Victorian era is just full of possibilities. Hopefully we'll see that after Rome 2, but Rome 2 will be fun to play.

I will present you with: 4 new screenshots.

The Roman Era, a time when men wearing skirts were badasses, and the key to victory and survival lay in how well armoured your man-skirt was.

Those graphics as well, are phenomenal.

I don't think they'll ever do any different period from what they've already done. Likely Empire 2, or Napoleon 2, or Medieval 2 in the future. Or perhaps Shogun 3 down the line.

Medieval 3, you mean? :P

And I really don't mind. The only times in history I'm interested in is the Medieval ages, Roman ages, 18th century, WWII, and the Vietnam war.
